Jin soon to be killed off on Lost?
Update, Matrch 14th, 2008: Note, if you are arriving here after the Lost episode, Ji Yeon, and want to know what happened to Jin, visit our full recap of the episode by clicking here!
The only reason I ask is because anyone who has ever been arrested for drunk driving and was an actor on Lost, has been summarily dealt with.
Looks like Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon was arrested for driving drunk by Honolulu police early this morning.
The last three Lost actors to get into trouble with the law, Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Watros and Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje (Eko in other words - his real name is almost impossible to write), were killed by guns or big black monster clouds.
Is Jin next?

Jeez, is there anything to do in HI besides drive drunk?
I’ve been there a few times and the answer is no. All I did was drink and drive
(kidding)
Seriously, you’d think you’d wake up when two others got arrested for it and maybe realize cops in Honolulu are out to get people driving drunk…
Boo for drunk driving and boo for irresponsible LOST actors. Hopefully Daniel Dae Kim’s character figures in as a much more integral part of the show and the writers/producers do not kill him off prematurely. Let the Hawaiian legal system be in charge of punishing him and not the writers, producers, or studio suits take it upon themselves to be both the moral cops, jury and judge in this.
Just a thought - stick with what you know fellas - writing great script, shooting great scenes and putting up week-in and week-out one of the best shows ever to be on the TV.
Yikes! I hope this isn’t a death-sentence for Jin. At the time, the producers claimed that the character deaths that happened right after the actors’ run-ins with the law was all just a coincidence and not a punishment or consequence, but if you ask me, that was a spin. I guess we will see…
Looks like you might have been foretelling the future, Mike…
Not I…just the rule of Lost…
“You get drunk and get caught, you get killed…the end.”
But pretty interesting anyways…this post is getting a lot of hits now.
