Verizon Voyager video review

In just a few days Verizon will be launching some new phones, one of them the supposed rival to the iPhone: The Verizon Voyager.

So far we know it’s got a touch screen on the front and opens up like the Verizon EnV to sport a nice little QWERTY keyboard for quick texting.

Well, PC Magazine got the phone, messed with it and posted a video review to give you a good idea what to expect. It’s a decent review and shows everything you’d want to know.

There were two surprises from watching this video:

  1. It has a built-in Web Browser for the front touch screen area, much like the iPhone. I wasn’t sure it would have that ability.
  2. It has a little pop-out antenna to pick up TV networks and streamed shows. Not much help now during the strike, but it does seem kind of nifty.

If you have your New Every Two coming up soon, it might be a good idea to check out this new toy.
