ComingSoon.net has posted the very first look at writer and director M. Night Shymalan’s poster for his latest film.
“The Happening” is described as a paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, and John Leguizamo and is set to hit theaters on June 13, 2008 (which is a Friday the 13th).
Awesome poster, and while his last few movies have sucked, I always get excited for an M. Night movie. This looks kind of interesting.

I liked all of his movies. Maybe I don’t expect the same things out of them as everyone else. Lady in The Water, for instance. I don’t understand why people didn’t like it.

The actual plot of the movie isn’t anything like Jericho. It has something to do with plants attacking people…sounds kinda crazy, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
