The Amazing Race: Leg 7

There was only one thing I was hoping for in this episode. That Ronald didn’t thank the Italians with a round of “Prego! Prego! Prego!”

Luckily his daughter is a heck of a lot smarter than him and went with the more useful “Grazie!”

This race was all about T.K and Rachel for me, because of everyone left, they are by far my favorite team. They went though an amazing amount of problems on this leg and still finished 4th.

First they lost their clue and had to go back for it, then it took T.K. like 4 flights to find “Vinci” painted in a field, and then they blew a frakking tire on the way to the pitstop!

Yet they persevered with their hippy, happy-go-lucky style of racing, although early on when they lost the clue, you saw some cracks in their patience.

Kynt and Vyxsin came in last, I was hoping they were done, but the first of two NON-ELIMINATION rounds took place, meaning they will be back next week.

Yet there is a twist. They didn’t lose money or possessions this time, but they will have to endure a Speedbump, some random challenge they have to accomplish that no one else does.

Looks interesting, can’t wait to see it.

As far as the Goth couple goes, I feel they really need to rethink their decisions to be “Goth” in the first place. Every country they go to they seem to worry about fitting in. “Italy is cool, they are like us, we’ll fit in!” or “look at everyone in the costumes, it’s our people!”

If you worry constantly about fitting in, maybe you aren’t as comfortable with who you are as you think? It might help if you actually sat and played poker with everyone else, instead of reapplying your lip gloss on a 10 hour ferry ride.

And poor Vyxsin, she’s the definite man of that relationship. From knowing how to drive stick, to pulling Kynt around with her and doing the directions. No wonder she broke down at the end.

Nate and Jennifer are starting to become a second favorite of mine, in this field of annoying teams. They pulled it together for this leg and really outdid everyone, even though they came in second.

And how about the Fast Forward that Donald and Nicholas used to land in 1st place?

Would you get the tattoos? I certainly would (already having one), but it was amazing that anyone would even have to think about it.
