Sarah Connor Chronicles: Viral website EniTech Research
Apparently you can no longer have a television show without some sort of mythology-based viral website that appears totally unconnected to the show, but is obviously part of its marketing strategy.
Not only that, but the work that goes into these things almost seems to be a full-time job in of itself.
Although, I will have to admit, the EniTech Research website, meant to be a study into the details of particle physics, is actually kind of cool and has some quality stuff on it. I almost want to subscribe to their feed to see what happens. Except they don’t have one. Ugh.
The main area of the site of course is the blog, and there the research team has been posting their findings. They’ve basically developed a digital camera called The Gardener Project Device that takes pictures approximately 1193 days into the future (3 years, 3 months). So they first take a real photo of an area, and then take one with “the device” and it shows subtle changes in the structures of buildings and things around there.
Yet recently…their photos have taken a horrifying turn. The two below were taken with a real camera, and then the Gardner Device.

They’ve also been cataloging their stuff on video, using YouTube as the medium for delivery. The latest blog post has Anna at the scene where they discovered the original buried cameras that helped them build their Gardner Device.
Something or someone chases them in the video and that’s the last blog post we’ve gotten so far.
