NBC has followed closely behind CBS in announcing when its slate of new shows will be returning to the air. Although they have released dates the shows will be returning we do not yet know for sure how many episodes of each show will air.
Here is the line-up (listed by show, anticipated return date):
“My Name Is Earl,” April 3
“30 Rock,” April 10
“The Office,” April 10
“Scrubs,” April 10
“ER,” April 10
“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, April 15
“Law & Order,” April 23
“Medium” began a run of new episodes last month.
NBC also made an official announcement that “Chuck” and “Life” have been picked up for next season. Neither show will air new episodes this season, however. “Heroes” has also been picked up for next season and is being delayed until the fall as well.
Notably absent from the announcement was any mention of “Bionic Woman and “Journeyman. It is widely believed that both shows have been effectively canceled by the network.

That’s too bad we have to wait until fall for Heroes, but oh well. At least The Office will be back! And I can still see Katee Sackhoff in Battlestar Galactica. I never really got into Bionic Woman anyway.

It’s just a shame that Battlestar Galactica will be ending for good this year, though. Looks like Katee will be looking for a new job.

Scrubs, yes. I gave up on ER this season. It just didn’t make the cut when I had to quit watching some shows.
