Breaking Bad is the new original series on AMC that I’ve gotten a bit addicted to the last few weeks. It stars Bryan Cranston from Malcolm in the Middle and he’s a long way from that family comedy with Breaking Bad.
Cranston stars at Walter White, a man who is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in the first episode and decides to try and give his family a future by “cooking” crystal meth in order to make a lot of money.
His wife and son have no idea that he’s dying, so his sudden strange actions start to raise questions.
The show is dark, violent at times and also hilarious. It has a unique plot, unexpected paths it takes you down and some solid acting. Cranston carries the show and is absolutely brilliant here.
If you’ve missed any of the episodes so far and want to give it a chance, AMC is running all three episodes so far this Wednesday night, February 13th.

Give it a shot. The pilot opens in a pretty awesome way that grabbed my attention right off.
