Apatow To Direct Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan

Variety is reporting that Judd Apatow has agreed to do what no one thought could be done - direct Adam Sandler in a funny movie again.

Apatow has tapped Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann to star in the next comedy he’ll direct. The untitled film will be a co-production of Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment with production to start in late summer or early fall.

Apatow is the sole writer on the project and is keeping the plot under tight wrap. Whatever he comes up with it’s gotta be funnier than Chuck and Larry

Sandler next appears in You Don’t Mess with the Zohan which was actually written by Apatow and Sandler and is set for release on June 6, 2008.
