Battlestar Galactica: Season 3

What the frak?

Yeah, that’s right, it’s the biggest week of the year as far as I’m concerned, although I wont be rushing out to purchase anything because I’ve put an embargo on anything not in high-definition from landing in my movie library. I just can’t imagine spending money on anything other than stuff with lots of pixels.

It’s actually a pretty solid week in DVD land, so let’s jump into this week’s releases:

Battlestar Galactica: Season 3

Oh yeah, time for the most important DVD of the year to come to stores, just in time for a weekend binge in front of the TV to prepare for season 4.

Without giving away much about it, season 3 was startling and begins years after season 2. There are massive developments, especially towards the end of the season and it has one of my favorite episodes of all three season thus far.

Go buy Battlestar Galactica: Season 3 today and catch up!

Okay, I wanted to see this, but something kept me away from it…perhaps it was all the singing I knew I was in store for, but from what I heard, Amy Adams was a doll in it and did an outstanding job.

Get it on Blu-Ray too.

I Am Legend

This was one of the huge blockbusters from last year, and while I wasn’t exactly thrilled with it, a lot of people enjoyed it and now it’s out on DVD with a super alternate ending special feature.

It’s also out on Blu-Ray, so you gotta love that.
