“Beverly Hills Chihuahua” Movie Poster - Dumbest Movie Ever?
Could Beverly Hills Chihuahua from Disney be the dumbest movie of the year? The dumbest movie ever? All I know is that chihuahuas hold no special place in my heart. Enduring 90 minutes of chihuahua yapping (even when disguised as the voice of Drew Barrymore) doesn’t appeal to me at all.

In Beverly Hills Chihuahua, a pampered Chihuahua named Chloe (voice of Drew Barrymore) finds herself accidentally lost in the mean streets of Mexico without a day spa or Rodeo Drive boutique anywhere in sight.
Now alone for the first time in her spoiled life, she must rely on some unexpected new friends — including a street-hardened German Shepherd named Delgado (voice of Andy Garcia) and an amorous pup named Papi (voice of George Lopez) — to lend her a paw and help her to find her inner strength on their incredible journey back home. Also starring the voice talents of Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos, Piper Perabo, and Cheech Marin.
I guess all Chihuahuas are Mexican. What the heck is George Lopez thinking these days? His TV show was pretty funny. His stand-up is funny. Why can’t he say no to stupid sounding movies? Balls Of Fury was a mistake. I don’t know what you’d call this. Maybe it’ll be better than it sounds.
What do you think?

I find it funny how you stupid movie critics are wrong like 95% of the time. (With the exception of "Cat in the hat". You were right about that one.)
Example: "Night at the museum" with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. Critics said it sucked. BUT... The general American public liked it, and most everybody in my area.
This movie, in all probability will appeal to:
1.) Chihuahua owners, which is a LARGE percent of the American population, and
2.) Kids who love dogs and dog movies, which is, again, a large percent of the American population.
You movie critics will be wrong. AGAIN.
You can TRY to control the minds of the American Public, but you will NEVER succeed!

I understand kids will love it, and will totally enjoy it, parents will love to take them to see it so they have something to do, and it will be good, clean, wholesome family time.
But I'd personally still rather take my kid to something awesome like Toy Story or Shrek before I take them to a sucky movie.
That's just me. And saying "movie critics" will be wrong because it is successful at the box office doesn't mean much :)

I was referring to the people who were getting insulted because of the accents the chihuahuas have. THOSE people have rods in their arses. The ones who go out and look for things to be insulted by because they aren't "Politically correct."
(a LOT of people like that on the net. oy.)
But if a movie is truly "Bad" and nobody goes to see it, than how does it still make a lot of money? Can somebody enlighten me on this?

As to your second point, if a movie is "bad" and no one sees it, then of course it doesn't make money.
But there are a lot of movies that make tons of money which really aren't that great.

Well, if you see a movie and think it's "Bad", yet it makes a lot of money, than obviously somebody's watching and enjoying it...
In other words, you thought it was bad, but a lot of other people enjoyed it. There's nothing wrong with having your own opinion. To me, "Good" or "Bad" is all a matter of perception. Some may think it's the best movie of their life, and others may think it sucks.
do you understand what I'm trying to say?
(I don't know if I'm wording it right...)

Not that Indy is a sucky movie (although I didn't like it much), a lot of people who went to see it felt like Spielberg and Lucas mailed it in.
So...that movie had like the 2nd biggest opening ever, but many people weren't too satisfied.
A movie can make money just from the hype, and totally suck. Sort of like One Million Years B.C. that just came out. A lot of people were excited, they spent money on it, but it was awful.

You know what? If the movie doesn't appeal to you
DON'T GO!
