Ultimate Bad Ass: Round 2 - John McClane Bracket

We finally get to the last matchups for Round 2 of Ultimate Bad Ass. The end is in sight!

So this bracket was a brutal one, with some huge, dominating names and combatants. In fact, the matchups are going to be pretty interesting.

#1 John McClane versus #3 Bruce Lee

McClane once hung a German guy by the neck using a chain and flung him out over stairs. He also walked on glass. Bruce Lee on the other hand is the baddest of the bad when it comes to martial arts. He’s the Original.

#2 James Bond versus #4 Indiana Jones

This looks like a no brainer on paper. James Bond can kill you a million different ways whilst sipping a martini. But Indiana Jones has been known to dodge poisoned darts and escape exploding boats.

Seems like two impossible choices, but when you think about it, it is not that tough of a choice, especially with regard to the first match-up. McClane is awesome, but Bruce Lee was a bad ass in real life and in the movies.

But I love McClane :)

I'm also trying to think of James Bond from Casino Royale, not Pierce Brosnan...Daniel Craig just seems more bad ass to me.

John McClane and Bruce Lee meet in the ring of death atop a 40 story office building at midnight on Christmas Eve, McClane having chosen the arena. Bruce comes out flying, moving so fast McClane doesn't even see the hands and feet that pummel his face. McClane goes down, but gets back up. He goes down again. He gets back up again. Lee quickly tires of this and proceeds to "finish him" by throwing him off the roof. John, however, is able to grab the railing and leverage his momentum to pull Lee over the edge. McClane hangs on to Lee with one arm. "Yippee-ki-yay, mother------," McClane says with a smile as he releases his hold on Lee. McClane doesn't care how he wins. But he wins.

Bond and Jones meet in a small bar in Calcutta. Bond has arrived early and is leaning against the bar sipping his martini. Jones makes the first move reaching quickly for his pistol. Bond tosses the martini into Jones' eyes and rushes him. An old fashion scuffle ensues. They fight, man to man...until Bond grows tired and pulls out HIS gun and shoots Jones in both knees. Without a word he leaves the bar and walks down the street. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out his cell phone. He dials a number and the bar explodes behind him. Indy's seared and smoking fedora lands at his feet. Bond, after all, has a license to kill.

toughest matchups todate....LOL Jason...but I see it as, McClane actually Dies Hard at the hand of Bruce, and unfortunately Indy chose unwisely...Lee and Bond wins...tough choices for me...

@Mike, I have to agree with you... I would see Indy beating Roger Moore Bond, proly a Sean Connery Bond, and maybe even a Pierce Brosnan Bond, but I dont see him beating a Daniel Craig Bond...

it looks like McClane has pulled 2 votes ahead...doh!
