Pop Critics suffers some hiccups, but we’re still ticking!

Early Friday morning our site was moved to a new host that is better, with more memory and an updated operating system.

However, in the process, we suffered a slight snafu when one of our DB tables got corrupted during the transfer. It took most of the day to figure out the problem, but once we did, the site was back up and running just in time for Battlestar Galactica to air and the recap to be posted. *grin*

The problems resulted in our readers being forwarded to my own personal blog (for some odd reason) and also caused blog posts from there to appear in our Pop Critics RSS feed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and the messed up RSS feed.

The people hosting our site are awesome, and Adrian especially does a great job keeping us running and giving us a steal of a deal.

He didn’t sleep for 48 hours straight while he switched a bunch of sites from one server to the other, and then troubleshooted our problem all day Friday.

We appreciate his work and effort immensely!

Anyways, we’re back and running smooth once more. You can’t get rid of us that easily.

As Indiana Jones once said, “I’m like a bad penny…I always turn up.

Well said.
