Spielberg and Jackson to Co-Direct 3rd Tintin Film

We’ve known for a while now that Steven Spielberg planned to direct the first of the planned Tintin trilogy.  The plan has always been for Spielberg to direct the first film and Peter Jackson to direct the second one.  There’s been wild speculation, however, about who would direct the third film in the trilogy.

Well, the New Zealand news site STUFF caught up to Spielberg and got a pretty interesting quote from him.  Spielberg told them, “We are going to make three Tintin movies back-to-back. I’ll direct the first one, Peter will direct the second one.  We’ll probably co-direct the third one.

Now, that doesn’t necessarily sound like it’s set in stone, but it could be a good indication of what they’re thinking.  What would a Spielberg/Jackson co-directed film look like?  Would it be better or worse than a film directed by just one of them?
