The Dark Knight: Concept Art For Two-Face (spoilers!)

Okay, one thing I didn’t realize about The Dark Knight until about a week ago, is that while we have The Joker overshadowing everything, Harvey Dent/Two-Face (Aaron Eckhart) is going to be a key character with a makeup job that Warner Brothers have been trying to keep under wraps.

Now I can see why.

Thanks to the sci-fi blog io9, through Comic Book Resources, we have the concept art for what Harvey Dent’s acid burned face is going to look like.

The photo above is a screenshot from the trailer we brought you on Monday, which just shows the EDGES of his burn. That’s just the start.

The L.A. Times interviewed Eckhart and this is what he had to say about it:

“I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It’s like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can’t talk about it beyond that because I don’t want to give away too much of the plans by Chris.”

Below are two links, one not much of a spoiler, it’s just Dent with his face lying in acid, but the other is the big, massive, HUGE spoiler.

That is why I’m putting them in links that you HAVE to click on, that way no one accidentally gets anything ruined.

So enjoy them, those that like spoilers, because who knows how long before we get contacts by Warner to take them down.

For those that look, what do you think? Gruesome?

It’s almost like this movie is going to be too good to be true. We’ve sort of gotten the idea that Heath Ledger is going to be awesome, but this entire Harvey Dent subplot could be just as good.

The funny thing is, the only person we’re not talking about lately in regards to The Dark Knight, is Batman himself, Christian Bale.
