Maybe they want to arouse our interest or maybe they want to counter the report that’s on the internet that says The Happening is an incredibly awful movie (notice I said report, as in one review), but either way the studio has decided to release this Red Band trailer for the film. It’s similar to the trailer we saw for a few brief hours earlier this year before they yanked it from the net…only with more gore.
The movie still looks pretty interesting to me. I guess we’ll know for sure when it hits theaters on Friday, June 13, 2008.

When I first saw the initial trailer I thought it was a take on The Cell by Stephen King. It’ll be interesting the general publics take on this movie.
