A big SPOILER from “The Incredible Hulk!”

You all know I don’t usually like to read spoilers for big upcoming episodes of my favorite TV shows (Lost, BSG) or huge summer blockbusters. I like to experience them firsthand.

However, there is one for The Incredible Hulk that I had to know, and at least for me, it really doesn’t ruin the movie at all. In fact, the stuff I just read just bumped the film up a few notches on my  Anticipated Movies Scale.

First off, there is a review of the movie out already and it’s a good one. You can read it over on SciFi Movie Page.

But the review also gives away a major spoiler. Read on if you really want to know. If not, STOP HERE!

Are you sure you want to keep going?

It really doesn’t have as much to do with the plot as it does with the overall mythology of The Avengers.

Still with me? Okay, here you go, you’ve been warned:

Robert Downey Jr. does indeed make an appearance in the film as Tony Stark from Iron Man, hinting around that a “team” is being formed, which of course would have to be The Avengers. This had been rumored about for awhile, but now it’s confirmed.

That’s awesome. I mean, simply awesome. Marvel’s total control over all of their comic book movies is brilliant. From Nick Fury’s appearance in Iron Man, to Tony Stark now in The Incredible Hulk.

Also don’t forget Captain America’s shield in Iron Man as well.

There are two other spoilers in the review, one of them concerning a villain in future Hulk sequels and also a cameo in the film.

Go read the review, because it’s good, and check out the other spoilers.
