Hopefully this isn’t too late for you fans of Battlestar Galactica, but I was just tipped off that the episode tonight, Revelations, which is the mid-season finale, will run ONE MINUTE long. Yikes!
The news comes from Laurel’s TV picks. Also, I just checked my DVR and it has the show as going until 8:01.
Your handy-dandy DVR may not pick that up, so be sure to tape the show RIGHT AFTER and you should be fine.
I can’t stress enough how important the final minute can be in a finale-like episode.
Thanks Richard for the heads up.

Doesn't your DVR allow you to set the recording to go a few minutes late if you want it to? Ours did back in the day when I actually had one…so long ago…
Yes - they do. And now, if you are with DirecTV, you can even setup your recorder remotely, from the internet! I love it. That means I don't have to walk the 20 feet or so from my office to the living room, I can do it from the comfort of my chair…
Soon we'll never have to leave our chairs! Then the world will finally be complete!
Yeah, you can, but sometimes instead of adjusting your Season Pass or
whatever you call it, the easier way to do it is just record the show right
after.
I think they call that Heaven
or flat pudgy ass, one of the two… =)
you can manually override the show record time by minutes…or hours, you can manually set show recording lengths to start a min early or two, and end late the same..
and what a minute it was!!!
