I really don’t get that excited about cartoons these days, even the adult kind like Southpark, Family Guy and The Simpsons. Not sure why, I know they are funny, but they just don’t do it for me anymore (Although, the World of Warcraft episode of Southpark might have been one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen).
Maybe that will change this fall.
FOX is giving us another cartoon comedy, this one called Sit Down, Shut Up, and it’s got friggin’ Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Henry Winkler, Cheri Oteri, Will Forte and others.
Talk about a great cast.
Here is a preview for it below. It looks hilarious, and if it’s got Jason Bateman and Will Arnett together again…I’ll watch it.

I had heard nothing about this, but that read through was pretty funny. I might have to catch it when it comes on and see.

The animation looks like it might leave a little something to be desired but with those voice talents how could it not be funny? I’ll have to add this to the “must see at least a couple times” list.
Here’s a really brief clip of the show. I had read that they were doing animation over video backdrops, but it’s a bit strange looking. I hope the writing is good.

Yeah, looks strange…definitely different than the types of animated series out there now.
That was pretty funny. I don’t think it looks too strange although it does remind me of a grown-up version of School House Rock a little bit.
