Yeah, super unoriginal title for this article, but the movie is called RocknRolla and it friggin’ rocks, and I don’t care!
I love Guy Ritchie for his unbelievable talent in two previous films, Snatch and Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. I’m sure I’ve made some of you sick to death when I mention these two movies, but that’s how good they are.
He also did a more recent one called Revolver, but I haven’t seen it yet. I heard some mixed reviews on it, but it doesn’t put off my excitement for RocknRolla.
The cast is beautiful: Jeremy Piven, Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton, Gerald Butler, Andy Garcia, Ludacris and a host of others. The official plot blurb from IMDB:
London’s criminal underworld takes notice of a Russian mobster’s shady land deal, a scam that puts millions of dollars up for grabs.
You can see it all in the preview below. It’s got a release date of October 31st and it’s definitely on my must-see list now.
