The Hollywood Reporter says Jon Voight will be joining the cast of 24 for the upcoming seventh season.
Voight will be going head to head against Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) as the main bad guy who is pulling the strings behind a terrorist threat. The character will be introduced during the two-hour prequel to Season 7 and will be featured heavily in the latter half of the season.
The prequel is currently shooting on location in South Africa and is slated to air on November 23. Season seven of 24 kicks off in January.
I thought Tony was going to be the main bad guy? Is his part short lived then and bites it (again) in the first 12 hours? Interesting…

Is Tony really a villain or is he just a conflicted character. I don't really see him as antagonistic towards Jack.
