New movie poster for “Saw V”

The Saw franchise has a huge following, and I in fact love them all for some sick, twisted reason. I know the more recent additions haven’t been spectacular, but I still find myself wanting to see the next one.

Well, that next one is Saw V, which arrives on October 24th, just in time for Halloween.

Here is the first poster for the fifth film in this torture-ific series, and I kind of like it. Nothing fancy, but what we do get is the vivid idea that someone is going to be donning a Jigsaw mask this go-round and continuing the saga of deadly games involving human life.

What do you think? Do you watch these movies? How about the poster?

  1. I loved the 2nd one. It had a variety of characters of different ages. I didn't like anyone in the 3rd and the 4th was just boring. I love twisted movies as much as anyone else does but if the story doesn't keep me entertained, then I'm out. I look forward to the 5th. Julie Benz is hot and she's on Dexter (my new favorite show). Great actress. Theres a little variety going on with the characters in this one so hopefully it will be good.

  2. The poster looks pretty cool to. It's pretty sick.

  3. I'm loving Dexter too :)

  4. I have to admit that the poster is very effective as all of their posters have been even if I have no desire to actually watch the movie. I saw the first three, but the whole torture/sadism thing just doesn't do anything for me. I thought the first one was the best because of the ending.

  5. Hey guys,
I thought the first 3 SAW movies where really good. The theme of the movie was very important fore plot( cherrish your life)and thats what maked SAW so special( all first 3 parts had a very good and surprising ending
But when i watched SAW IV i lost my interest in it. There was no proper plot anymore and the producers where just trying to make money…
When i watched SAW V i was really angry at the producers: the ending was so obvious and they kind of lost the theme ” Be greathfull for your life”
