New trailer for “Wanted”

Here is a brand new trailer for Wanted, the graphic novel turned movie starring James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie, which hits theaters on June 27th.

I read the graphic novel myself and reviewed it in May, and while I knew the movie couldn’t possibly follow the evil storyline, I had some hopes after recent interviews with the directors and writers.

But in this new trailer, the part that bothers me is this line by Jolie: “Kill one…save a thousand.

That’s really not what the comic was about.

Yet regardless of the changes, I’m still hoping for a good, fun movie. The preview is a good one and the action looks incredible.

  1. This is one of the benefits that I enjoy of not reading these stories before hand - I can approach the movie like it is fresh, fallen snow, never trampled on by other peoples feet.

Looks cool - I just might try to catch this one.

  2. Every preview I see on this film makes it look more awesome than the last (although the Russian trailer was pretty freaking sweet). The only thing that will stop this movie from being a huge hit is the fact that it opens against Wall-E. Heck, even I want to see Wall-E.

  3. I agree with Jason on this one. I am really excited about this movie, but I’m thinking we’re going to see Wall-E first.
