“X-Files: I Want To Believe” Website Goes Fully Interactive

The X-Files: I Want To Believe website has been a splash page up until just a couple of days ago. On Tuesday the site went fully interactive in anticipation of the film’s theatrical release.

The site is pretty cool as you can now download an X-Files ringtone and get some new images from the film as well as view the trailer and other videos, get information on the cast and crew and stuff like that.

They’ve also made available a handy new widget like the one you see below:

You can also read the official synopsis of the film although it doesn’t really tell you much about the movie:

In grand “X-Files” manner, the film’s storyline is being kept under wraps. This much can be revealed: It is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show’s most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder’s pursuits.

You can check out the official site yourself at http://xfiles.com/.

X-Files: I Want To Believe will be hitting theaters on July 25, 2008.
