Comic-Con: Heroes season two DVDs to have extra episodes

According to Jeph Loeb, who hosted the Heroes panel at Comic-Con Saturday morning, the second season DVD box set will be released on August 26th and contain something very cool.

Because of the writer’s strike and shortened seasons (I guess), there will be extra episodes, or unknown episodes, included with the ones that actually aired.

Loeb didn’t give out more information than that, and considering the second season wasn’t exactly awesome, who knows what these will include or how great they are.

But if are looking for a reason to purchase them, unaired episodes might help.

  1. The only DVD set that I'll buy is LOST. No other show has replay value to me. I'm sure the extra episodes will be available online eventually, or I'll hear about them.

  2. BSG dude… BSG… season 2 has probably the coolest scene you'll ever see in a TV show to date… =)

  3. I wonder how many episodes?!? Thats kind of weird isnt it as an incentive to buy the DVD's… maybe not. I'd be interested in seeing them, but I had never planned on buying Heroes season DVD's, as Sean points out, although its a great show I dunno about its replay value…
