First Look At Bedtime Stories With Adam Sandler
What is Adam Sandler up to these days, you ask? Well, it’s funny that you asked that because we have a just released picture of Adam Sandler in his next film, Bedtime Stories. And no, Bedtime Stories does not involved Madonna in any way so far as we’re aware (if you don’t get that it’s okay). Bedtime Stories is actually an adventure comedy that will be opening Christmas Day.
In Bedtime Stories, Sandler plays Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. He attempts to take advantage of the phenomenon, incorporating his own aspirations into one outlandish tale after another, but it’s the kids’ unexpected contributions that turn Skeeter’s life upside down.
Hey, I actually think this sounds pretty good. At least, I think it should play up to Sandler’s strong points while downplaying his weak ones (you know, the ones that make him not funny like the fake gay kind or the Devil’s child kind).
The film is directed by Adam Shankman, and stars Adam Sandler, Guy Pearce, Keri Russell, Richard Griffiths, Courteney Cox, Lucy Lawless, Teresa Palmer, Russell Brand, Aisha Tyler and Jonathan Pryce.
Bedtime Stories opens in theaters on Christmas Day.
