Begin the Lost Journey All Over Again (or for the first time)

Beginning on September 15th, you’ll have two different ways to either watch Lost from the beginning for the first time, or to do it all over again. It just depends on who you are.

For me, I’ll be loving the idea of re-visiting the first season. You get one of the most exciting pilots in a long time (which cost about $10 million to make I believe) and that begins an action-packed and surprise-filled season.

So where does this all happen? The quick answer: Online and TV.

G4TV.com will start what they are calling Lost in 2.0, which seems to be modeled after the pop-up, fact-filled episode replays we saw a lot of last year. But this time, you’re getting them from the very start. I’m actually kind of curious what kind of information we’ll get.

Lost in 2.0 starts on September 15th.

But if you’d rather watch Lost on television, you can do that instead. We told you about this awhile ago: On the very same day that Lost comes to G4, it also comes to the Sci Fi Channel.

Here is the schedule for the first day, which will blast us with a four-episode mini-marathon:

  • Pilot, Part 1
  • Pilot, Part 2
  • Tabula Rasa
  • Walkabout

If memory serves, Walkabout is a frakking awesome episode. But aren’t they all?

So will anyone of you Lost fans check these out and see it all again? Or what about your Lost-virgins…thinking about giving it a chance?

  1. Watch it… watch it… watch it. If you haven't before, it is an amazing show… definitely one worth investing the time to catch up with.

  2. Wow. This is awesome.

I have watched six eps from S4 in the past week and have three hours to go.

Many of them were the enhanced broadcasts on ABC.com which I thought were awesome.

If you arent reading the episode summaries over at http://www.lostpedia.com (http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Portal:Episode_Guide), you are seriously missing out.

  3. I have to wonder, though. If you haven't started watching ANY Lost yet, wouldn't it be better to just wait until the series is over at this point? Why go through the months of painful withdrawal that the rest of us face? Just wait for the entire series on DVD and watch it all back to back over a long vacation some year.

  4. Yes - although I'll probably just pop the discs back in and start re-watching it. I heart LOST. :)

  5. I think you lose the impact of the show as well as the emotional connection with the characters in the show when you watch them on DVD - back-to-back. There is something to be said for having to “suffer” the wait.

  6. Good point, but I also think that it's so many seasons now, it's going to
take you quite awhile to catch up.

Although, if you start watching the DVDs now, you could maybe catch up by
    February :)

  7. Cap'n: <———– watched it watched it watched it…BAM… 4 seasons in a week and a half…. now thats watching it!!!

and… i just watched it all recently… so I just saw season 1 it seems like!

  8. You know whats better than owning Lost on DVD?!?! Having a FRIEND who owne Lost on DVD… I borrowed them from a friend and watched all the seasons (except for season 4, which I had to watch on my pc…but it plays just as good)…

  9. Could be cool to watch it over the same amount of time that they are supposedly on the island…but that might get tricky with the time travel and such…

  10. Plus… if you do that, you miss all the fun discussions of crazy Lost fans, which really is part of the fun. Even if it is just a bunch of people commiserating with each other between seasons.

  11. 4 seasons in a less than two weeks is seriously impressive

  12. Yeah, this is really the best part…talking about it every week with other fans.

  13. What, you don't have a time machine? No DVR, no DIRECTV, and no Time Machine…

You really need to get on the ball here.

  14. And no cell phone. I'm living in the '90s baby!

  15. Goodness…I feel like I need to fly to Austin right now and perform an intervention!

  16. Cool! Thanks for the info. Is it sad that it just makes me happy to get a Lost update? Doesn't matter what it is about. It's just about Lost. It's just been too along…. How many more months to go until the Premiere? *sigh* ;-) haha

  17. I feel your pain!

  18. You got them ALL on Blu?
