Monday night has way too much going on these days. We had to demote The Sarah Connor Chronicles to the bedroom so that we could tape Gossip Girl and Chuck out in the living room.
Also new last night along with Chuck was Life, which I only made it halfway through before it was time for bed. But there was also One Tree Hill, Prison Break, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother and Lord knows what else.
Tell us what you thought of the shows last night…did you like Chuck or Life?
I dont think you are missing anything with Sarah Conner chronicles… I might stop watching it… its nto very good at all (its really all hype)
Heroes was SPECTACULAR last night, this seasons has really come back to good form. Good story lines with some twists and turns… I liked it a ton!!!
Life was good to see return as well. The show was good except Ireally dont like the new cheif, he was annoying and not relavent to the story and seemed creepy on many ends trying to hit on Cruz's partner.
Heck I dont have time for monday night football anymore… which might be ok as i cant stand the annoucing team that covers the game…

I might stop watching Sarah Conner Chronicles as well. I don't know what it is, it's just boring. I was so confused by last night's episode with the Allison and Cameron back and forth stuff. I only watch it because there's nothing else on at the time and the story is interesting, I just think there executing it poorly. I would have been more interested in the show perhaps if it took place in the future rather than present.
One Tree Hill was pretty good. Another crazy episode. I'm glad the Nanny storyline is over. It felt like a horror movie last night. Surreal.
Prison Break was a lot of fun. They pulled a psych moment with them not getting the card info. I didn't think they were going to get it to 100% but was surprised they finished it quickly. Glad Sarah's back. She make's the show enjoyable again. Love the different disguises and covers their doing each week. Good episode.
I was about to stop watching Heroes if the show didn't improve. The season premiere although much better than season 2 altogether was a bit confusing. But this week toned it down a bit and was great again. I hate Mohinder and Maya so I hope they at least get rid of her sometime soon. Not really caring for the God storyline with Nathan. I hate when they make religion very centric to a show. As if it's real and everyone should believe in it. Loved Sylar teaming up with Claire's father. Pretty funny. I'm waiting for Claire to break something. Something I always look forward to. I hated Peter saving her from the train. I was expected her to get hit.

boring is a good way to put it actually…. thre are so many gaps and holes in it… just the premise of Terminator is exciting, but this show has never really been exciting or interesting… its very blah…

Anyone going to talk about some of the new shows coming up? Valentine starts on Sunday (I've seen screeners, and this show has the potential to pull in the Charmed crowd), and My Own Worst Enemy starts on Oct 13.

Valentine is the story of several Greek gods living in modern times, whose purpose is to bring soulmates together. Aphrodite is the matriarch of the clan, her son Eros (Cupid) is there, along with Hercules and the Oracle of Delphi.
It seemed like a typical lighthearted supernatural story, kind of like Charmed but with a romantic twist, but an interesting twist was brought up in the pilot… something to the effect of if they become irrelevant, they lose their immortality and cease to be gods. And The Fates are watching.
We linked in a trailer over at Slice of SciFi (there's a scene in there that rivals the orgasm scene from Harry Met Sally, only it's funnier). As long as they don't get too campy with it, it could be light fun.

I enjoyed Life, as always! Although the changes take some getting used to. I'm glad that Dani Reese is still Dani Reese and that the partnership between Charlie and Reese is going smoothly but the moments I most enjoyed in the series were the points where Charlie and Reese were able to talk, particularly when Charlie was about to reveal Jack Reese's involvement in his imprisonment. I was delighted that he wanted to tell her but was even more delighted when Dani revealed that she knew– or at least reached the same conclusion with some of the pieces she was able to puzzle together but at this point she isn't *ready* to acknowledge it.
I so love having this show back, hopefully as the episodes progress they return to being the fantastic show they were last year.
Definitely am with you on this…still loving the show.
