90210 Recap: “Lucky Strike”

Last week the 90210 season premiere pulled in top ratings amongst viewers, and it was expected that this week would only gain momentum. Family secrets emerge from nearly every character and the love triangles predicted last week are now in full swing.

Mornings are hectic in any household across the nation, so it is no wonder that mom’s old fashion sit down breakfast was going to fly in the Wilson’s household. Debbie decides to take action after feeling abandoned by her family at the breakfast table. She and Harry propose a family night! Where they can all go out bowling together! And not just any night, a Friday night at the Lucky Strike! (Note the sarcasm) Give me a break, like this would ever happen on the old 90210

Gossip Girl RECAP: “Never Been Marcused” (Season 2 Episode 2)

After meeting the new Lord Marcus last week on the premiere episode of Gossip Girl, we knew it could only spell one thing TROUBLE. He and his step-mom (aka The Duchess) have burrowed their way into the center of this lovely New York teen circle.

It’s ironic that, one minute Blair was using Marcus to get back at Chuck and the next she is completely head over heels in love with him. Even Serena is caught off guard by the profession of love, when Blair quickly snaps back “revenge is so 12 hours ago”.

90210 Recap: “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore”

Beverly Hills 90210, the show known for making a zip code famous, is back! In one of the most anticipated premieres of all summer, we were introduced to the new students that would walk the halls of the infamous West Beverly High. Move over Brenda and Kelly, there are new kids on the block!

“Well Annie, we are not in Kansas anymore.”

Of course our star family had to have moved from a good ole Midwestern town, only this time it wasn’t Minnesota. Harry Wilson, the new principal of West Beverly, and his wife Debbie, a hot shot photographer, moved back to Beverly Hills to care for Harry’s mother. Their two children Annie and Dixon, the sister and adopted brother duo, are transplanted from Kansas and are sure to find drama in the newly upgraded 90210.

Gossip Girl RECAP: “Summer, Kind of Wonderful” (Season 2 Episode 1)

According to the previews, the Gossip Girl season two premiere promised to be sizzling. While we may have seen sparks fly, it was anything short of a fireworks display. Of course things always heat up the summer, and it seemed no different in the Hamptons.

Nate and Serena spent the summer deceiving everyone by letting them believe they were a couple. Nate used Serena as a cover up, while he engaged in a summer fling with a married older woman. And Serena used Nate, while she spent the summer mourning her break-up with Dan.
