I’ve been pretty excited about seeing the new Ridley Scott film, Body Of Lies, for a while now even if I haven’t had time to read the book it’s based on. I mean, a Ridley Scott film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. What could go wrong, right? Well, this poster for one thing.
This isn’t the worst poster I’ve seen, but it’s nowhere near as good as it should be for this film. It’s a pretty standard, generic poster like we’ve all seen a hundred times. There’s just nothing to it that elicits any kind of response. I’m disappointed.
I still recommend you check out the trailer for the film because it looks pretty cool.
Body Of Lies will hit theaters on October 10, 2008.

I'm disappointed too.

It looks like they made DeCaprio look beefier and the art makes me think of him as a comic book character, that he is drawn rather than having his picture taken. Is this movie in trouble, honestly I don't know what to make of it, if it weren't for Farahani I wouldn't see this.

Apparently Ridley Scott enjoys working with Russell Crowe; and he likes to make movies that raise international awareness (i'm thinking Blackhawk Down and Kingdom of Heaven)… that's a good thing i'd say
