Awesome new images from City of Ember

Ever since I read City of Ember, I’ve been getting more and more excited to see the movie adaptation. It doesn’t hit theaters until October 18th, but that’s not going to stop me from posting some new photos for you guys to check out.

These high-resolution images come courtesy of IESB and really give us some great views of what the actual city of Ember is going to look like, plus some shots of Tim Robbins and Bill Murray.

Book Review: “The City of Ember” by Jeanne Duprau (2003)

If you want to see a bit more about the movie, check out the teaser we posted not too long ago.

The Friday Question - Reading

Reading is one of my favorite things to do. If I can find a book that sucks me in, I like nothing better than to curl up on the couch, sit outside, or read in my bed until the wee hours of the morning.

And lately I’ve expanded from not just “books” but to also graphic novels and comics.

“City Of Ember” Movie Trailer With Bill Murray

The other day Mike mentioned a movie called City Of Ember that hasn’t gotten a lot of attention. He gave us some info on it as well as some pics and a really cool poster. The movie doesn’t come out until October so it’s sort of being overwhelmed by the big summer movies, but I saw the newly released trailer today and I think this little film just might surprise us. It actually looks really good.

“City of Ember” poster and images

I hadn’t heard a single thing until The Movie Blog discovered it, but there is a new film due out in October called City of Ember, based off the book of the same title.

The plot seems interesting, but I am wondering if it’s more of a kids movie with the two teenage central characters.
