Fox To Replay Fringe Pilot, Sneak Peak 24: Redemption and The Day the Earth Stood Still
If you missed the incredibly awesome premiere of the new, soon-to-be-hit, series Fringe on Fox, you’re in luck because Fox is going to air it again on Sunday and give you another chance to see it before the second episode. As a bonus you’ll get to see some sneak peaks of 24: Redemption and The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Dollhouse Follows 24 and Shuts Down Production
Relax, it’s only until September 25th. And once again, this is a 2009 show, meaning any delay in production at this point in time wont hurt anyone.
But still, it’s weird.
First we had 24 pausing production in order to focus on writing for a few weeks, and now Dollhouse follows suit. And this is after Joss Whedon already re-wrote the pilot, switching the orginal one to the second episode.
Production to Halt on 24 for 18 Days
Here is a bit of interesting news regarding one of the most action-packed series on television.
According to EW.com, production on the FOX series 24 will halt on September 15th after they finish filming episode 18. The break will last 18 days and resume on October 9th. The reason is to give the writing staff time to “re-shape” the final episodes.
Egh, I’m not sure I like the sound of that. Of course, it’s great that they realized the way things were going wasn’t working, but it worries me overall as to the quality of the seventh season.
Prison Break premiere photos feature Michael Rapaport!
Somehow I missed the tidbit that Michael Rapaport will be joining the cast of Prison Break this coming season. Scanning his film and TV history, I don’t even see much that would jump out at me about why I like him so much, but I do.
Of course I remember his stint on Friends as Phoebe’s boyfriend, he was fantastic on there. And he’s been in a lot of movies I’ve seen before, but nothing awesome, although Deep Blue Sea is one of those guilty pleasures of mine.
Joss Whedon shooting a new, first episode of Dollhouse
Straight from Joss Whedon we get the somewhat interesting news that he is shooting a new, first episode for the new Fox series Dollhouse.
Apparently the original pilot they shot might have had a few items that could confuse viewers, and Whedon wanted to fix that. According to him, this was not a network decision (thank God), but his own.
“Journeyman” Kevin Falls has a new pilot on FOX
I’m glad to hear that Kevin Falls from Journeyman is doing another show for Fox and not NBC. It’s not like Fox has a great track record either, but it would have been ridiculous for NBC to cancel a guy’s show, and then have him do another pilot.
This business leaves me scratching my head on most days.
More Details On The “24″ Prequel Movie
We’ve been keeping you up to date on the prequel movie for “24” that is set to premiere on Fox this Fall because it is supposed to lead in to the seventh season of the show that starts next January. Well, Robert Carlyle, who has a major role in the film recently spoke with Premiere and gave us some new details.
Jason Bateman In First-Look Deal With Fox
It seems my dreams of an entertainment world dominated by Jason Bateman are coming true. Bateman’s post-”Arrested Development” career resurgence is gaining even more traction after the actor inked a first-look deal with with 20th Century Fox TV to develop TV series, as well as produce and direct projects.
Sarah Connor Chronicles marathon coming in August
I’ve included The Sarah Connor Chronicles in my Top 10 from last season and now those of you who haven’t seen it will get a chance to catch up for FREE before September.
Starting just over a week into August, FOX will be replaying every episode of the first season over the course of about two weeks.
Fox announces Fall 2008 premiere dates

The Simpsons renewed for historic 20th season
In case you missed the news, The Simpsons’ cast inked a deal with Fox that extend their contracts another four years and ensures that the cartoon will make its 20th season.
That ties it with Gunsmoke for the longest running primetime show in history.
FOX’s “Sit down, Shut Up” preview
I really don’t get that excited about cartoons these days, even the adult kind like Southpark, Family Guy and The Simpsons. Not sure why, I know they are funny, but they just don’t do it for me anymore (Although, the World of Warcraft episode of Southpark might have been one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen).
Maybe that will change this fall.
