According to Variety, John Singleton’s big screen version of The A-Team is getting a summer release date.
Twentieth Century Fox has skedded John Singleton’s film version of 1980s TV series “The A-Team” for release on June 12, 2009. Singleton will direct the action-adventure from a script by writing partners Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (”Wanted,” “3:10 to Yuma”).
We’ve already been hearing about how Ice-T or Ice Cube (one of the Ices) wants to play B.A. Baracus and how Singleton wants Woody Harrelson to play Capt. H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock. Singleton, however, does not want either of the Ice men.
I guess we’ll just have to wait for the casting announcements and the inevitable backlash from the crazy fans that still follow the show.

Woody as Murdock seems pretty good…
Hard to believe how far John Singleton has slipped since “Boyz n the Hood.” Given the string of junk he’s done since, I’m thinking that movie was purely a fluke.
How desperate for projects do you have to be to remake this cornball old TV crap? It was cheesy, pointless, plotless junk back then and is likely to be an even more spectacular smoldering pile of poo when it hits the big screen - only it’ll have even cooler, more pointless explosions. What a waste!
Hey, maybe they’ll actually shoot people in the movie version!
You gotta love it when a plan comes together…
Is that a quote from the A-Team? if so….pretty sad that you know that Kory
what can i say, i watched the show as a kid. that line was used at the end of almost every episode.
Heh…I watched it too, guess my memory sucks
