Last night’s repeat of the Fringe premiere also included a sneak peak at The Day the Earth Stood Still. From all reports it’s the same footage they showed at Comic-Con but better edited. In case you missed it, I thought I’d give you a chance to check it out.

We’ve been talking lately about remakes and how tired of them we all are, but at least The Day the Earth Stood Still seemed interesting once we got our first look at the teaser.
Now we have two new posters to show you, although one of them is pretty similar to the first one Jason showed us back in June.

Back in April, Jason told us about the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still starring Keanu Reeves, and no one was really surprised at yet ANOTHER old movie being modernized.
The poster came a month later, which looked OKAY, but nothing spectacular.
We finally have the first trailer for the movie, which also features Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, John Cleese, and Jaden Smith (Will Smith’s son).

The guys over at AICN got their hands on a script for the Keanu Reeves starring remake of “The Day The Earth Stood Still” and the reviews are not good. In fact, the reviewer, Uncapie, was so upset he threw the script against the wall.
