Moon Bloodgood Lined Up For Terminator Sequel

This weekend turned out to be full of good news for Terminator fans. In case you haven’t heard, it was confirmed earlier this weekend that “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” will definitely be returning for a second season. Also, the ugly rumor that the Terminator sequel (I’m not sure what we’re calling it now, but we’ll go with Terminator 4 for lack of another title) had been shelved was just that, an ugly rumor. Production on the film continues.

In fact, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Moon Bloodgood is in final negotiations to join the cast of the film as the female lead. Most of you will probably remember Bloodgood from NBC’s short-lived series “Journeyman” (or ABC’s short-lived series “Day Break”).

In the fourth installment of the “Terminator” movie series Bloodgood will play a no-nonsense and battle-hardened member of the resistance who is carrying a lot of guilt over surviving the nuclear holocaust. She will be joining Christian Bale, Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin who have already been cast in the film.

Principal photography is set to begin May 5, with Charlie’s Angels director McG at the helm. Terminator 4 is set for release on May 22, 2009.

  1. Glad it was just a rumor, glad Sarah Connor is back and glad Moon Bloodgood will be in T4!

A good Monday so far! :)

  2. I have a really hard time not reading her name as Bloodgod for some reason. But I guess maybe someone will need to take over the Blade franchise, what with Wesley taking a forced vacation here before long. :)

  3. All good news on a Mon morning. Let’s hope her turn in T4 ends up better than her last two efforts. I loved both Daybreak and Journeyman, maybe the third time is the charm.

Scotty Dub’s last blog post..Casual Dress Friday: ASU is talking, is your campus?

  4. Good news and good news. Glad to hear T4 still on track for sure….

  5. She has two good shows in her pocket…Even though they were stupidly canceled. That’s a horrible name she had though. Moon Bloodgood? Really? Her parents must hate her.

    1. Come on, let’s grow up here. Her parents happen to love her more than any of you know. Korinna Moon Bloodgood is an amazingly beautiful name. You are incredibly rude to even suggest a thing knowing that she, or someone who knows and loves her, might read this. You don’t know her parents or the circumstances behind her name. Before you go judging people, I would give consideration to whom you might hurt and what your objective is in stating such a hurtful, rude, and ignorant statement.

Seems you have a picture of you and your daughter on your profile. Hummm. Is that the humility and judgment you are passing on to her to share with her generation?

Be thoughtful on your postings when you insult people you have no idea about.

  6. Well, I don’t know if they hate her (I’m guessing they were hopped up on something or were hippies), but I bet she wasn’t too happy with them…

  7. Hey, the cancellation of Journeyman isn’t totally final yet! :)

    Gotta hold out hope!

  8. I think Moon Bloodgood is also holding out hope that someday her parents will realize what they did to her.

  9. Moon is looking for work. I don’t think she’s holding out hope for Journeyman coming back…

  10. I wish they would bring back Journeyman, they officially said bionic trash is dead why wouldnt they announce other lineups they are or are not bringing back… guess I’ll take some moon in T4…. maybe she’ll have timet ravel powers there?
