Non-elimination round: The Amazing Race to return for 13th season

But as always in a non-elimination round, they will have to film the show with no money, no cameras and by begging people in the streets of local villages to pair up into teams.

Phil is happy the Amazing Race is still onOkay, none of that will happen, but the best reality show on TV, The Amazing Race, has already been greenlit to start production on their 13th season. Host Phil Keoghan couldn’t be happier — >

According to Variety, this 12th season wasn’t even supposed to air until 2008 sometime, but when Viva Laughlin turned out to be an utter joke (if you watch The Soup, you saw Joel McHale totally make fun of this show a month or two ago), they put The Amazing Race on early.

The result has been good ratings, including a premiere that had the most viewers since 2005 and a season consistently boasting 12 million fans a week.

Considering this is the only reality show I still watch these days, I couldn’t be happier to see it return.

Maybe Scott and I will need to send in our entry video again…hmmmmmmmmm
