Season Premiere Photos from How I Met Your Mother

I’ve never seen but the pilot episode for How I Met Your Mother, but I’ve heard it’s great and I know a lot of you watch it. And because of that, I’m bringing you some cool shots from the season four premiere episode that arrives September 22nd on CBS.

I also have one questions for you fans of the show: Is it worth watching the series from the beginning? Because at least from a few people I know, last year was a bit off.

Some Highlights from the So Fresh, So Fox Photo Shoot

(this post may take some time to load because I didn’t know when to stop posting pictures - Photos courtesy of FOX)

Fox recently did a pretty awesome photoshoot of their young talented actors and actresses from their Fall/Winter slate of shows. It was called So Fresh, So Fox and featured about a bazillion photos of these stars from some of your favorite series.

Prison Break premiere photos feature Michael Rapaport!

Somehow I missed the tidbit that Michael Rapaport will be joining the cast of Prison Break this coming season. Scanning his film and TV history, I don’t even see much that would jump out at me about why I like him so much, but I do.

Of course I remember his stint on Friends as Phoebe’s boyfriend, he was fantastic on there. And he’s been in a lot of movies I’ve seen before, but nothing awesome, although Deep Blue Sea is one of those guilty pleasures of mine.

Watchmen: Kevin Smith says they “pulled it off”, plus new photos

I’ve always been a fan of Kevin Smith’s, although at Comic-Con this year I felt he hijacked the Battlestar Galactica panel a bit, but regardless, I value his opinion on all things entertainment. He has great taste and usually when he likes a show, a movie or an idea, it’s right on the money.

Which is why it’s awesome to hear what he thinks of Watchmen. He’s already seen it, I’m jealous, but at least the word is good.

Jake Gyllenhaal is all beefy for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

I’m not really sure whether to laugh or not at these photos of Jake Gyllenhaal taken in Morocco, North Africa, on the set of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

On one hand, Jake is pretty ripped and you ladies are probably swooning right now. The hair seems right, the costume look accurate and his overall appearance just “feels” like what you’d expect Prince Daston to look like if he jumped from the video game onto the big screen.

Some hot promo pics from The Sarah Connor Chronicles

And no, I’m not talking about Thomas Dekker, although some of you girls may enjoy his mugshot.

But Lena Headey and Summer Glau are looking pretty snazzy in these promo shots for the upcoming second season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Awesome new images from City of Ember

Ever since I read City of Ember, I’ve been getting more and more excited to see the movie adaptation. It doesn’t hit theaters until October 18th, but that’s not going to stop me from posting some new photos for you guys to check out.

These high-resolution images come courtesy of IESB and really give us some great views of what the actual city of Ember is going to look like, plus some shots of Tim Robbins and Bill Murray.

Comic-Con: The Wrap Up

There was one thing I learned from my two-day trip to San Diego’s 2008 Comic-Con.

Four days would have been better.

And also possibly one more person joining me to help cover the event. The vastness of Comic-Con is staggering. I know that I didn’t get to spend enough time on the exhibit floor, but even the 3-4 hours I put in allowed me to only explore maybe a quarter of the booths and displays.

Comic-Con: Some photos from the exhibit halls

Comic-Con is massive and overwhelming, but I’m already having a great times. I got a wonderful demo of DC Universe Online from the creative director at Austin Studios and I met a comic book writer who is doing a new Voltron series.

I also purchased my Bears. Beats. Battlestar Galactica t-shirt, but they were out of large sizes, so maybe the XL I had to settle for will shrink in the wash.

New photos from Watchmen, plus Carla Gugino pin-up art

I don’t know about you guys, but seeing the first trailer for Watchmen got me super-hyped. Yeah, it’s not out until March 6th, 2009, but the preview was enough to make me wish it was already released in theaters.

We have a group of new photos from Watchmen, each featuring some of the main superheros from the movie: Rorschach, The Comedian, Silk Spectre, Silk Spectre II, Nite Owl II and Dr. Manhattan.

Mojo posts some never before seen photos from “Star Trek: Voyager”

I’ll freely admit that Star Trek: Voyager didn’t impress me much. Yes, I watched it for awhile, but I think I gave up about halfway through its run.

In fact, just looking it up on Wikipedia, I’m blown away that there were SEVEN seasons of the show and 172 total episodes! That’s pretty remarkable. I honestly have no clue how many of those I sat through.

The first photos from “Ashecliffe” emerge

Ashecliffe is the upcoming film by Martin Scorsese, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams and Ben Kingsley. Formerly known as Shutter Island, it’s based off the book of the same name by Dennis LeHane.

Some “Burn Notice” season 2 promo photos

Knowing the love for Burn Notice around here, I figured you guys would love to see some promo photos for the upcoming season. They are just cast shots, but anything is good right?

And just so I can say I’ve seen the show finally, I started watching the first episode on Hulu last night. I got about 20 minutes into it and had to hit the sack, so I still need to finish.

New photos from “Batman: Gotham Knight”

I am seriously going to have to buy this thing or hope Direct TV gets it On Demand, because Batman: Gotham Knight is starting to look very, very cool.

I’m not too knowledgeable about things like animation and anime, but this Batman interpretation being drawn in a Japanese anime style seems very unique and different than anything done before.
