There is no Journeyman on tonight, thanks to NBC showing Life for some odd reason, nevertheless, that isn’t stopping the fans out there from using it to their advantage.
Groundlings Reviews and Aint it Cool news have come up with a plan to save the show and if you are able, today is the day to help. So what can you do?
The plan:
- Download the episode “Blowback” from iTunes
- Watch as many Journeyman episodes on NBC.com as you can TODAY, December 3rd.
In doing this, the hope is that the spike in ratings today, via online downloads and viewings, will prompt NBC to take some action.
I plan on doing my part today by buying the Blowback episode off iTunes and running the NBC.com episodes in the background while I work with the sound down.

The funny thing is, I spoke to a friend of mine who works for an NBC affiliate and he tried to point out that the reason Journeyman isn’t getting any love isn’t because of the network itself, but because of the AFFILIATES who dislike the ratings they get coming into their news shows at 10pm.
I guess that makes sense, but to me, it’s all still the NBC network. Screw them, save JOURNEYMAN!
A CORRECTION:
I wrote last week about the 12th episode of Journeyman and how it wasn’t intended to be shown, but the fans saved it and now we all get to see it.
That episode number was wrong I guess, even though the letter quotes Kevin Falls, the creator.
Apparently it’s the 13th episode and it will be seen on December 19th.
So here is the rundown of the final 3 episodes of Journeyman:
- 12/10 - Ep. 11: Home by Another Way
- 12/17 - Ep. 12: The Hanged Man
- 12/19 - Ep. 13: Perfidia
If you want some descriptions of those upcoming episodes, with possible spoilers, check out Ain’t it Cool News. I’ve read over them a bit and now am totally excited for the final three.

Question: I thought NBC and apple couldnt come to agreement a bit back and pulled all of their shows from iTunes (includes any new versions of BSG), and they wont be available for dl there?

Good point Cap’n…in fact I heard they totally severed all ties today, so not sure where else to get it from.
I’ll try anyways when I get home.
Just found out Journeyman is produced by Warner Brothers, so it’s not affected by iTunes…
