With Battlestar Galactica done shooting episodes, the former cast members are starting to be seen elsewhere. The first was Tricia Helfer on Burn Notice last Thursday. Next up is Grace Park, who played Sharon “Boomer” “Athena” Agathon Valerii on the hit Sci Fi series.
She joins Benjamin Bratt tonight on A&E’s first original series called The Cleaner. Bratt is the lead in the series, named William “The Cleaner” Banks, who battled his own addictions after his daughter was born and struck a tentative deal with God. Now he helps people overcome their addictions in extreme ways.
Park plays Akani Cuesta, who is on Banks’ team of people who help him accomplish his interventions.
Below is a little video about Park and her role on The Cleaner. Check it out tonight on A&E.

I mentioned to my wife this might be good and suprisingly she said yes. Now I have to fit this in b/t catching up with Heroes, Weeds, watching Dan in Real Life.
At least Dan in Real Life is a movie…
But I gotta catch up with Dexter too, and possibly Mad Men.
I'm sorry. I like Benjamin Bratt (I even liked E-Ring), but this show won't make it half a season. Even the commercials bore me to tears.
That's why you were crying last night…I was wondering.
No, he was upset about SYTYCD
Why must it be one or the other?
It might have more of a life because it's on cable, but I didn't know what the plot was until now. Sounds strange.
And don't you mean, Sharon “Boomer” “Athena” Agathon Valerii / Dean Stockwell's love puppet.
That's why I married you.
Point!
I totally forgot to Tivo this - thanks for the reminder!!
That's what we're here for
What to say…um…my friend's working on the show so I'm watching in solidarity. Plus to quote Kenneth the NBC Page…
“Grace Park!”
Good enough for me!
Does anyone know the name of the song/artist near the end of the pilot episode?
I liked the show!
and become a hit.
Perhaps it's because the subject matter hits so close to home.
I think with a little patience, it'll pick up speed
I'm looking forward to the next episode.
Clean by Depeche Mode or Mad World sung by Gary Jules (written by the band Tears for Fears)… ??
I didn't see the episode, but these songs have been mentioned in discussions about the show.
Hope that helps…
After more searching, I believe it is “Waiting For My Real Life To Begin” by Colin Hay.
A hit just like the homerun to win the MLB all star game this will be a winner for B. BRATT and for viewers it has all the emotions covered strongly. This is what makes SUPER TUESDAY
Wow, high praise…maybe I need to check it out. I didn't get a chance to watch it last night.
You must have been switching back and forth between Cleaner and the all-star game
Nice comparison, lol
Thanks for the help!
I have never heard of Colin Hay before, but I like this song, and have no doubt I will listen to more of his stuff.
Good stuff, Thanks………
Colin Hay is the former lead singer for Men at Work.
Ouch. Man, that makes me feel old. It is Colin Hay's “Waiting for my Real Life to Begin”. You might recognize the song from the episode “My Philosophy” of Scrubs (S02E13) where it was sung by Jill Tracy and the cast.
You might know Colin Hay as the former lead singer of Aussie superstars Men at Work. I hope.
I like Colin Hay, had no idea who he was
I know men at work, but didn't recognize the name.
I'm sure your no older than me.
Do you know Joe Bonammasa?
Man I love the blues!

No, not really…my musical knowledge compared to most people's is like the size of a grape next to a watermelon.
Have this dvr'd will have to watch it, esp since dig the fact they used Mad World, although I am partial to the original.
