Big Willie Rules Weekend & Sets Personal Records Even As “Hancock” Underperforms

Will “Big Willie” Smith made this holiday weekend the fifth Independence Day weekend that he’s ruled the box office cementing his place as the King of the Fourth Of July.  However, even as Hancock doubled the gross of the second place film, it still managed to fall below industry expectations.

Clash of the Green Screen Greek God Movies

It looks like Hollywood is ready to gear up for some Greek mythology movies and they have some heavyweights in the mix.  As with all things in Hollywood, however, all things must go to excess.  So, instead of having one Greek mythology movie or maybe two over a year or so, we have two movies that are racing to see who can come out first - which means they’ll probably come out around the same time.

Watch the original “Incredible Hulk” TV series on Hulu

After seeing the brand spanking new Incredible Hulk movie last Friday, I took a journey backwards in time when I noticed that the original television series of the same name was now available on Hulu.

The first season of the 1978 series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno is there for you guys to watch for free. I checked out the first one and I have to say, it was kind of cool.

Movie review: “The Incredible Hulk” (2008)

Obviously the comparisons are going to be made with Iron Man, since they both came out in the same summer and both are Marvel productions. Hulk isn’t up to the level Iron Man was, but it definitely made up for the suckfest that was the original with Eric Bana.

DC Comics’ “Red” Getting Big Screen Adaptation

DC Comics has been taking a big back seat to Marvel in the recent past.  Marvel has really hit a home run this summer with Iron Man and is poised to strike another blow with a rejuvenated Hulk franchise when The Incredible Hulk hits theaters tomorrow.  DC isn’t sitting on their hands, though.  They’ve just allowed Summit Entertainment to pick up the movie rights to WildStorm/DC Comics’ Red, which revolves around a former CIA agent.

“The Incredible Hulk” Already Getting 70 Minute Blu-Ray Bonus

The director of The Incredible Hulk has Hulk fans more than a little excited (if you know what I mean) after giving an interview over at Collider.  In the interview, director Louis Leterrier tells us that the Blu-ray disc for The Incredible Hulk is going to have approximately 70 minutes of footage that has been cut from the movie.

Iron Man (Tony Stark) Cameo In “The Incredible Hulk” Revealed In New Trailer

Well, we told you guys a long time ago that Tony Stark would be making an appearance in The Incredible Hulk.  So many of you listened to us and told your friends that Marvel decided the cat was already out of the bag and they may as well exploit the popular Iron Man connection.

Will Captain America be in “The Incredible Hulk” too?

A funny thing is starting to happen with the upcoming summer blockbuster, The Incredible Hulk.

I think I’m more excited about the cameos by OTHER superheroes than I am about seeing the Hulk himself!

Okay, maybe not completey, but seriously…the hype surrounding this movie in regards to special appearances and what it will mean for future Avenger films is staggering.

Platinum Studios Bringing “Final Orbit” To Big Screen

According to Variety, Platinum Studios has teamed with Valhalla Motion Pictures to turn the thriller comicbook “Final Orbit” into a feature film.  Valhalla chair Gale Anne Hurd and Platinum Studios chairman-CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg will produce.

A big SPOILER from “The Incredible Hulk!”

You all know I don’t usually like to read spoilers for big upcoming episodes of my favorite TV shows (Lost, BSG) or huge summer blockbusters. I like to experience them firsthand.

However, there is one for The Incredible Hulk that I had to know, and at least for me, it really doesn’t ruin the movie at all. In fact, the stuff I just read just bumped the film up a few notches on my Anticipated Movies Scale.

Variety Confirms Lou Ferrigno Voicing Hulk In “The Incredible Hulk”

An article in Variety has gone largely unnoticed over the weekend.  In the article, Variety is able to confirm through producer Gale Ann Hurd that Lou Ferrigno, the bodybuilder who played the part of the Hulk in the old TV series, will actually be adding his voice to the Hulk in The Incredible Hulk.

New “The Incredible Hulk” Trailer C and Poster

This is the newest trailer for The Incredible Hulk.  It’s the one that was shown in front of Speed Racer this weekend so it’s a pretty safe bet that none of you have seen it yet.

New “The Incredible Hulk” Images

Yahoo posted new images from The Incredible Hulk yesterday around the time the new trailer hit.  I actually think these are just still images from the trailer, but some of them are pretty cool.

“The Incredible Hulk” Trailer B smashes onto the web

It’s been a great week for Trailer B releases, although the other two we’ve posted have been bootlegs and one of them has already been taken down.

Now comes the high-resolution version of the new The Incredible Hulk trailer, which is pretty awesome looking I have to say. It totally makes me forget how bummed I was at the previous Hulk film.

Don’t Skip “Iron Man” End Credits - Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury To Make Appearance

This news is hot off the press.  It’s been reported that Samuel L. Jackson’s character from Iron Man, Nick Fury was cut from the film in the final edit.  However, Moviehole has confirmed that Nick Fury will, in fact, be making an appearance in Iron Man after all.  But he won’t be making that appearance until after the credits for the film.
