“The Bromance Is Gone” Music Video

“The Bromance Is Gone” Music Video

I thought this music video for “The Bromance Is Gone” by Brony! Broni! Broné! might be kind of stupid.  And it is.  But it’s also really funny…and kind of catchy.

Spelling bee kid hears the word Numnah wrong

This is pretty hilarious, you might have seen it already, but if not, you should take a look.

The 2008 National Spelling Bee just took place, and the winner was the kid in the video below, Sameer Mishra. But before he got to the end, he received a word that threw him off a bit:

Numnah

Original, unused teleplay for “Lost” pilot episode

I was sent this little gem by Richard, one of our guest writers here, and I totally loved it, so of course I’m passing it on to you.

What we have here is an “unused” teleplay for the original pilot to Lost, written by Andrew Bridgman.

Of course, it’s sort of what Lost might be like if it were a comedy. Here is an excerpt from the first few lines of it:

“Wall-E” Featurette: Wall-E Meets Bouncy Balls

After a short break, Wall-E is back to meeting things.  He’s already met a vacuum, a magnet, a hula hoop, and a pair of headphones.  This time around Wall-E is meeting some Bouncy Balls for the first time.  Let the shenanigans commence.

Flight of the Conchords: “All the Ladies of the World”

It feels like it’s been awhile since I posted something about Flight of the Conchords, and that makes me sad.

This video came across my blog reader last week and I kept meaning to post it for you guys. It’s semi-NSFW, but it’s really not too bad. They sing one of their more popular songs, All the Ladies of the World.

“Wall-E” Featurette: Wall-E Meets Headphones

For a robot who’s been stranded on Earth with nothing to do but clean up garbage, Wall-E sure is meeting a lot of new things.  He’s recently met a vacuum, a magnet, a hula hoop, and now Wall-E is meeting a pair of Headphones.  Crazy Wall-E.  What’s he going to meet next?

“Wall-E” Featurettes: Wall-E Meets A Hula Hoop

We already saw Wall-E meet a Vacuum and Wall-E meet a Magnet.  Well, now that crazy robot has met a Hula Hoop.  You wouldn’t think a robot would find much to do with a hula hoop, but you’d be wrong.  He finds just enough to make us laugh.

Improv Everywhere: Food Court Musical

Awhile ago I passed a great video on to you guys from the clever Improv Everywhere group who pull off awesome showcases of acting talent in public areas.
The previous one was done at Grand Central Station, where 200 people stopped dead in their tracks like they were right out of science fiction film.
This new edition [...]

The Soup - Dutch Oven

The people on The Soup somehow find shows you’ve never heard of to poke fun at, and this latest is no different.
It’s a little cooking show called Dutch Oven & Camp Cooking and this little guy named C. W. Butch makes foods out of his tent in the woods…or something.
Anyways, this little clip from [...]

Tracey Morgan responds to Tina Fey on SNL

Three weeks ago, when Saturday Night Live returned from the writer’s strike with new episodes, Tina Fey was the first guest host and had a special “Women’s News” commentary during Weekend Update.
She did a big chunk of the story on a very Hillary Clinton-slanted opinion piece which was hilarious. She declared “bitch is the new [...]

Jason Clark is Jim Morrison from The Doors

Sometimes at Pop Critics, we just need to have more fun, and thanks to The Cap’n, we’re doing that today.
There is a new site out there called FACEinHOLE.com, where you can upload your beautiful grill and insert it into famous faces, and then photoshop it to look pretty good. It’s pretty freaky and a lot [...]

Letterman doing ‘Top 10 Reasons to Watch Battlestar Galactica’ on March 19th

My favorite late night host and my second favorite show are colliding in an effort to freak me out with excitement.
Well, that effort succeeded. David Letterman is going to be having the cast of Battlestar Galactica on his show Wednesday, March 19th to read off that night’s Top 10 list:
The Top 10 Reasons to Watch [...]

I’m f*cking Ben Affleck - Kimmel’s response

Okay, this little battle back and forth between Sarah Silverman/Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel/Ben Affleck is bordering on legendary.
Sarah and Jimmy are of course dating. Kimmel apparently has a running joke on his show where usually at the end he says “well, sorry Matt Damon, we’re out of time.”
This resulted in Sarah and Damon playing [...]

Spongebob Actors Dub Classic Films

By all accounts one of the highlights of the Annie Awards on February 8 was a video put together by the cast of Spongebob Squarepants (yeah, there’s real people behind those cartoons).  Annie Awards emcee Tom Kenny, along with presenters Rodger Bumpass, Carolyn Lawrence and Bill Fagerbakke created the short video to prove they shouldn’t [...]

The Ant & The Grasshopper - With Updated Version

TRADITIONAL VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he [...]
