“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” Premieres Big

Joss Whedon’s first assault on the Internet premiered on Tuesday with mixed results. I mean, sure it’s the NUMBER ONE download at iTunes. And sure the sound of SQUEEEE! fills the air. And sure the critics are all singing the praises of the singing villain.

But it was so popular, the Dr. Horrible folks had to get new webservers! That’s not good. They were too loved!

First Trailer for “Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”

I figure there are three classes of people who’ve been following updates about Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog: Whedon-philes, Internet content evangelists, and…no. Sorry. Those are the only two classes of people who’ve been waiting. Fortunately, there are a lot of the former, and I actually belong to both camps.
During the WGA strike, several big-time writers [...]

Octagon Global Recruiting will be at Comic-Con in San Diego

When I first heard the announcement of a new viral campaign for the show Lost, I was intrigued and despite my usual lack of participation in these things, I got involved this time.

If you forgot what happened, this commercial aired during the season finale of Lost a few weeks back:

New Netflix/Roku streaming movie box arrives

Perhaps I wont need to get that Blu-Ray player afterall.

As some people have been saying the last few months, it really may not matter that Blu-Ray beat out HD-DVD for the title of high-def DVD king…now that streaming movies are making their arrivals, we may not even need those shiny discs again.

“Save Superman!” - So say the fans

This should be an interesting debate here, because I know there were some of us that really did like the latest Superman movie, Superman Returns, with Brandon Routh, and some of us who thought it sucked big time (me).

There is a site out there that is gaining momentum and being talked about more and more, and it’s called SaveSuperman.com.

The old WB, which merged with UPN two years ago to form The CW, is set to return with new webisodes and free viewings of all their previous television series.
Warner Brothers is resurrecting the old WB, putting it all on the internet at the website WB.com. There is nothing there now, but it’s being developed [...]

More from Terminator viral site EniTech Research

With so much to see online these days, keeping up with everything is a pain in the butt. That being the case, I’ve missed a TON of stuff going on at the EniTech viral website for the Terminator saga. This picture of a badly damaged tape is just part of the fun going on there [...]

I’m f*cking Ben Affleck - Kimmel’s response

Okay, this little battle back and forth between Sarah Silverman/Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel/Ben Affleck is bordering on legendary.
Sarah and Jimmy are of course dating. Kimmel apparently has a running joke on his show where usually at the end he says “well, sorry Matt Damon, we’re out of time.”
This resulted in Sarah and Damon playing [...]
