Christian the Lion - He’ll make you cry

Christian the Lion - He’ll make you cry

This site is devoted to pop culture/entertainment, and while we tend to focus on movies, comics and television more than anything else, we still like to bring you other things that are hot out there, especially viral videos that are making big splashes on YouTube.

I saw this video on The Today Show this morning, and found out that it’s blazing across the web and making the entire world smile.

Laura Ingraham calls Fox’s “Just In” a train wreck

This video is spreading like wildfire around the interweb, so of course I had to bring it to you. I don’t know if it’s as bad as everyone thinks, I mean, it really seemed like the crew Laura Ingraham was working with may not have been firing on all thrusters.

“The Cleaner” premieres tonight on A&E

With Battlestar Galactica done shooting episodes, the former cast members are starting to be seen elsewhere. The first was Tricia Helfer on Burn Notice last Thursday. Next up is Grace Park, who played Sharon “Boomer” “Athena” Agathon Valerii on the hit Sci Fi series

The first “Heroes” webisode will make your ears bleed!

This summer has been weird for me when it comes to NBC’s Heroes. As I’ve said before, I loved the first season and essentially loathed the second.

But somehow during the months since it’s been off the air, I’ve started to look forward to the third season. Maybe it’s creator Tim Kring’s promise to bring back the “awesome” from that brilliant first year.

Watch “Burn Notice” Season 2 Premiere Right Here!

Burn Notice has been getting a lot of attention here lately, especially here at Pop Critics.  Just last month Mike let us know about Hulu putting all of the Season 1 episodes online and now they’ve just put up the premiere episode of Season 2 as well.

Quentin Tarantino’s “Hell Ride” red band trailer

Hell Ride is a Quentin Tarantino film in as far as he’s the executive producer. But the movie is written, directed and sometimes acted by Larry Bishop, of biker movie fame.

He also recently appeared in Kill Bill: Volume 2, along with Michael Madsen, and according to IMDB, the two came up for the idea of Hell Ride while making that movi

“Max Payne” International Trailer

We’re in the hot days now, when thoughts turn to beaches and Batman, suntans and stoner comedies. But I’m guessing after we hit the highpoint of summer - July 18, and you know why it’s the summer’s highpoint - and start that sticky and sweaty slide down to Labor Day, we’ll start thinking more about autumn’s darker fare.

“Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is already funny

The fourth season of Always Sunny in Philadelphia doesn’t premiere for over two months, but they’re already cracking me up.

And I’m not talking about the three seasons already available for FREE on Hulu.com.

In a promotional music video directed by Fred Savage (Kevin! OMG!), the cast lip syncs to the song going back to Philly and it’s an absolute riot.

Hellboy making the rounds in promoting “Hellboy 2″

The comic book movie Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, arrives in theaters on this Friday, July 11th. But the promotions seem to be just now heating up.

The character Hellboy is involved in all kind of web videos interacting with people like Chuck from the NBC series, the guys from American Gladitor, James Lipton from Inside the Actor’s Studio and an NBC “The more you know” commercial.

Neil Patrick Harris makes fun of Doogie

Neil Patrick Harris is slowly becoming this legendary character. I’m not sure when it started. Perhaps it was his cameo in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Perhaps it’s his critically acclaimed role on How I Met Your Mother.

Either way, he’s turned into this hilarious guy who really can’t seem to do anything wrong lately.

“The Office” webisodes start Thursday

You wont have to wait until this Fall to see some of your favorite cast members from The Office. The second series of online webisdoes will begin this Thursday, July 10th on NBC.com.

This go-round will revolve around Kevin trying to find some “unique” ways to pay off some big gambling debt. We’ll also get to see Oscar, Daryl and Stanley.

We’ve got the pilot episode for “Mad Men”

The hit series for AMC called Mad Men is returning for its second season on July 27th. But if you are like me, and missed the first season, you can at least find out if you like it for free.

AMC has released the pilot episode for Mad Men online for the very first time, and it’s broken up into the three segments you see below.

Freaky Red Band trailer for “Mirrors”

Not too long ago, Jason showed us the spooky first teaser for the new Keifer Sutherland horror filmed called Mirrors. Next came a creepier movie poster that sent shivers down our spines.

And now…we have a freaky, bloody Red Band edition of the trailer that may end your days of looking at yourself in that shiny glass every morning.

Five minutes from “Batman: Gotham Knight”

MTV has posted a sweet five minute clip from the upcoming direct-to-DVD release of Batman: Gotham Knight. The DVD will be out on July 8th, and it contains six stories by different directors and animators, set during the time between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, which is out in theaters on July 18th.

“Wall-E” Featurette: Wall-E Meets A Soccer Ball

This isn’t exactly like all the other Wall-E featurettes that we’ve had.  I think this one is actually appearing on Brazilian TV of all things.  Still, I felt like it fit in the “Wall-E Meets” category so that’s how I’m publishing it.
